Je retournerai sur Bordeaux mais je changerai d’endroit ! Positive: L’emplacement est très bien le quartier est top. Negative: Le logement dans une résidence très bruyante, des voisins qui ne respectent rien.. et le logement pourrait être refait il manque du carrelage dans la salle de bain etc.. et c’est très humide avec une odeur constante dans le logement.

UNSUITABLE ACCOMMODATION: Dirt, Dust, and BLOOD-STAINED BLANKETS! (Horrible Experience) - Stay away! Positive: Only the position Negative: We booked two apartments for two families (ours and that of some friends), spending a total of nearly 1000 euros. The condition of the accommodations was downright deplorable and hygienically unacceptable. We're talking about floors completely covered in dust and visible dirt, hair scattered everywhere, and—most seriously—blankets stained with blood! Our friends, who have two small children, were forced to flee and leave the apartment after the first night. We tried to endure for two nights: the result was that we couldn’t sleep due to the disgust, and our son coughed continuously because of the huge amount of dust. Essentially, two nights wasted and a ruined stay. After the first night we asked the owner to clean the apartment so that we were not forced to leave: what he did was just to leave a MOP so that WE could clean it (see picture) Important additional information: The apartment is far too small for 3–4 people! It’s really tiny (only the bathroom is disproportionately large). There is a “bedroom” that’s just big enough to fit the bed, and a “living room” that’s only as wide as the unfolded sofa bed (which was quite disgusting to sleep in it). The owner of the apartments obviously disappeared as soon as he realized the seriousness of the situation. Booking.com's Customer Service, after some initial support, had an embarrassing and offensive conclusion: they decided not to refund the unjust expense, justifying it with the ridiculous argument that “the owner believes the house was fine".

Pleasant stay in a great location! Positive: Best location in Chartrons, a few steps from nearest tram. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. There are several nice perks from the management: a cleaning kit with tabs for washing machine and soap, sponges for dishes. This is definitely a nicety and not standard for renting an apartment. The terrace area is secluded for privacy. Coffee machine is available and there were even coffee pods for visitor use. The bath has a shower as well as a jacuzzi tub. Definitely enough towels provided. All in all a very pleasant stay. Negative: ./.
